Funded by "Awards for All" and published Autumn 2004, the paperback volume has 119 pages and contains many black and white illustrations, maps and plans.

The book was launched at the Community Centre, Monk Fryston on Saturday 16th October 2004 by the Rev'd David Wilbourne, former resident of Hillam, successful author and Rector of St Wilfrid's 1985-1991. HILLAM, A VILLAGE REMEMBERED is now completely sold out. However, for anyone wishing to see a copy, there are various options. Hillam Historians have a reference copy, which is available to personal callers only (not by post) for a two-week loan. The book is available on CD for £3 (+ £1 p&p) as an Adobe Acrobat file which can be read on screen or printed out. Cds are only produced on request.
